Thursdays: Spinach Lasagna
We decided to make something different this week, something I had not made before. We made Lasagna from scratch. I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out but when we pulled it out of the oven it smelled amazing and made everyone hungry. We’re very proud that most of us wanted to go for a second serving.
Ingredients:
Homemade spinach pasta (we used the Canal House recipe)
Italian sausage pan fried and then simmered in tomato sauce
Béchamel sauce (instead of cheese)
For the bottom layer, you lay out the pasta, then the Italian sausage and the Béchamel sauce. Repeat this 2 more times and top it off with pasta and a some Parmesan cheese. Bake it in the over at 375 degree for about 30 – 45 minutes. It should be bubbling around the edges and brown on top.
We served it with a simple arugula and avocado salad.
This is our place to discuss our interests in designs, lifestyle, arts, photography, eatings, etc. We are Mr. & Mrs. Pineapple Seed, Soraj and Nathiya Prathnadi.
